Why it works for learners
Scripted courses rarely prepare you for how people actually answer a question: with hesitation, restarts and fillers. These interviews do. Different speakers answer the same prompt, so you hear key words repeat in several voices. It is made for learners only in its subtitles and editing, because the speech itself is natural. Looking back ten years is also handy practice for past tenses used by ordinary speakers.
What makes it hard
Speakers vary greatly in speed, accent and clarity, and a street recording can be noisy. Stacked subtitles tempt you to read English the whole time. You may find some people easy and the next person almost impossible, which is normal here.
How to use it
Watch once reading only Spanish subtitles, covering the English if you can. Replay without looking at the screen. Then answer the same question aloud yourself. Pick out how each speaker talks about the past and copy one sentence.
